Born and brought in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, was active in village theatre right from his childhood and then to complete his studies went to Patna and there during his stay got involved with patna ipta and then honed his craft as an actor and director, working in more than 15 productions among which the famous ones are Supna Ka Sapna, rakht Kalyan, juloos, mujhe Kahan Le Aaye Ho Columbus, main Bihar Hoon, chuppi, fitrati chor etc After that started working independently by collaborating with theatre artists across the city and during the process made 10 theatre productions like Spartacus, Clouds, kalidas bhi Mare Jate, kutte Ki Maut, sarkaari sand, phir milenge etc and was associated with this production in the capacity of an actor, writer, designer and director. He complied his post graduation in theatre arts (Direction) from University of Hyderabad have worked with eminent theatre directors which include M. K. Raina, Anuradha Kapoor, Jonathan Chetel (France), Satyabrata Rout, Noushad Muhammed Kunju, Aniruddh Khutwad, Jane Collins (U.K.), Ananthakrishnan Balakrishnan, Rajiv Velicheti, C. R. Jambe, Parvez Akhtar, Tanveer Akhtar, Robojita Gogoi, N. J. Bhikshu, Souti Chakraborthy, Makrand Sathe, Robin Payne (New Zealand), Anthony and Jema (USA), Nazreen Ishaque. etc and many more .
